Rebecca Martin 2013 headshot-smRebecca Martin is the founder and CEO of dear jane Inc., a career services company. Her mission isn’t simply to get people hired but to help them discover their calling and turn it into a career they can be passionate about.

Rebecca’s unique philosophy and proven methodologies are backed by over a decade of industry experience. She has helped people who have been unemployed for years find meaningful work as well as coached successful business owners through career-changing transitions. Her extent of expertise encompasses newcomers to retirees.

When she isn’t coaching clients, Rebecca delivers workshops and teaches classes on everything from how to market yourself and write a resume that will get read to how to professionally navigate transitions and negotiate to get what you deserve. She wrote and published the ebook “83 Tips on How to Successfully Work with Corporate and External Recruiters” and was asked to appear on ABC7’s daytime talk show “The View from the Bay.”

Above all, Rebecca believes in the power of community. She is an active member of several organizations and volunteers on a regular basis. She lives with her husband and their dog and two cats.

Brian Beckon – Corporate Counsel

BrianBeckon3Brian is an 18-year veteran attorney who formerly served as general counsel for RSF Social Finance. Before that, he was corporate counsel for Sybase, Inc. and Catellus Development Corporation. He has also served as attorney/editor with Bancroft-Whitney and later with LawRoom.

Brian began his career as an associate with the law firm of Gaw, Van Male, Smith & Myers. He earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, and his B.A. from Messiah College in Grantham, Pa. Currently, he resides in Concord, Calif. with his wife and three children.
