Rebecca Martin is the founder and CEO of dear jane Inc., a career services company. Her mission isn’t simply to get people hired but to help them discover their calling and turn it into a career they can be passionate about.
Rebecca’s unique philosophy and proven methodologies are backed by over a decade of industry experience. She has helped people who have been unemployed for years find meaningful work, as well as coached successful business owners through life-changing transitions. The extent of her expertise encompasses newcomers to retirees.
In addition to coaching individual clients, Rebecca offers career development workshops on everything from how to market yourself and write a successful resume, to how to professionally navigate transitions and negotiate to get what you deserve.
She is an active member of her community and works pro bono with organizations such as The Salvation Army to help underprivileged people advance in their professional lives. She lives with her husband Matt and their three dogs.

Michelle Karver – Career Advisor
Michelle Karver comes to dear jane…..with a passion for helping people manage their professional and personal lives. Michelle has over 20 years of experience in numerous training, recruiting, career development and client management roles and has worked with individuals from college graduates to executives. She has worked domestically and internationally in both the public and private sectors.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley and a Master of Arts degree from Golden Gate University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology where she is an Adjunct Instructor in the graduate school of Psychology. Michelle’s life outside dear jane…includes a love a travel, spending time with her family, working in her vegetable garden and volunteering in her community.
